This is the very first link in the Outlaws 'Pass it On' chain! Meet Nic, the creator, as he chats with Fixture Secretary Chris discussing preconceptions on the LGBT community, rugby and rugby clubs in general. As the very first conversation we conducted, Chris turned up with no explanation of why we needed him. We just said a time and there he was, what a hero! Thought: Is he being sponsored by Sports Direct to have that mug constantly in shot or do big people really need big cups?

Fresh straight out of being the first guest in our new feature, Chris becomes the question master as he leads Ashton in a discussion to bust some myths about the LGBT & rugby community! As our former social secretary Ashton has never been far away from the centre of fun creation at the club, and his story is one all to familiar for member of the LGBT community when thinking about getting involved in team sports. Thought: Honesty is always the best policy!

Student, NHS volunteer, PCSO and McDonald's worker Ash (how does he find time to sleep!?!) takes over the reins as he welcomes 2019/20 VC & integral part of the coaching team Kev to bust some rugby myths. Kev made in impact from the very first time we met him, watch and find out exactly how that went down and why someone with his rugby experience was nervous before his first training session. Thought: What you see on the outside, never reflects what's going on inside.

Coach Kev turns into Michael Parkinson as he finds out what is was like for Chad growing up in a rugby mad family in South Africa but never feeling able to play himself. Thought: Rugby is an ever present, it exists and will wait for you until you are ready.

Chad chats with Marc, who joined us way back in 2015 during our enlightening first attempt at the EMRU Merit Leagues. How has 6years of Outlaws action for Marc changed his perceptions? Thought: Being a titan on the pitch doesn't automatically make you one off it. Often people grow into their rugby destiny.

Kicking off week two of our Pass it On series, here's long time Outlaws legend and back row nuisance Marc Burgess (MB56) talking to club secretary Darren Abel (DA10). Sit back and have a listen as they get stuck in to a variety of topics. Thought: We work hard to be respected as rugby players and sometimes it takes a fixture against us to bring that to fruition.

And moments after completing his chat with Marc, Darren stepped in to the chair to chat with Sam Mobley (SM128). Sam joined us during our 2018/19 season and had a decided impact in many games from the off, despite struggling with arthritis, which limits his playing opportunities. Thought: "More clubs should be like the Outlaws. If a new player comes down to train they are welcomed with open arms straight away."

Sam talks to our Social Secretary Joey about all things rugby, LGBTQ+ & rugby club behaviour. Somehow we slip on to Joey's cricket past and well, they seem like an interesting bunch ;) and there's a funny tale about Joey's aversion to getting muddy! Thought: Rugby, as a sport, actually includes anyone that wants to play rugby, it's just who you're playing the sport with that changes.
